Mysterious Heart
This
the night before valentine's day
all
thru the browse
not
a creature is clicking
not
even aroused
The
tender lady my valentine to be
is
having valentine's day
and
a day without me
A
day of hearts known and unknown
shimmering
lights of red as cupid's arrows are thrust
the
mysterious heart unread with a love tone
The
mysterious shots so true and true
I
shall paint a face with imaginings
the
looks of the lady in morning dew
The
mysterious heart with smiles and tears
tired
and not to reveal her face
the
heart for which i searched these years
Let
me sleep this night's great day
with
the mysterious arrows near my side
Let
me sleep while the mask is upon her face
